Our Chamber Orchestra
As the first music supporter among foundation universities in İzmir, Yaşar University Chamber Orhestra was founded by the chairman of the Board of Trustees, Selçuk Yaşar in 2006.
The orchestra performed in numerous concert halls with various conductors and soloists the first two years, and from the academic years 2008-2009 on, the general music director and conductor has been Alexander Rudin.
Yaşar University Chamber Orchestra, which presents polyphonic and universal music to music lovers and enriches our cultural life with concerts, festivals and recitals, meets listeners at Selçuk Yaşar Campus concert and conference halls every month.
Yaşar University Chamber Orchestra has been enriched with more musicians and has successfully represented our university in the domestic and international arenas. Most of the musicians in our orchestra continue with their solo careers.
